So for clarification, the "blind" system is similiar to the traditional "ante"
And Texas Hold'em can be played either way?
Ok, then if its a "blind" system, you speak of "small" and "big" blinds...
Does this mean: (1) you're playing one way or another (small or big)
Or does this mean, (2) there are two "blind" positions.
If it means (2) then, I understand that the blind positions are to the left of the dealer.
But if there are 2 blinds, is the person to the left of the dealer the small blind, and the person after that the big blind?
Then would the person left of the big blind be "under the gun" ? as I have heard it called?
How do you determine what the ante is, or how much each blind is... I'm sure its obvious when you're playing because everyone is putting the same blind in, but how do you calculate how much that would be.
sorry for the pesky questions
let me know if I'm not making sense!!! |
