If your a fan of the WPT or WSOP events on TV - you have most likely seen the celebrity poker matches. Well the latest brainstorm by GSN (Gaming Show Network) features another gamblers favorite - blackjack!
The announcement was made Joel Chiodi, Executive Director, Marketing and Promotions of GSN, the project is hosted by Matt Vasgersian, who is a TV broadcaster for the San Diego Padres, and Alex Bornstein, featured in "Mad TV," "Cat Woman".
The six-episode series will show five tournaments of five members, every of them will receive $10,000 for their charity. Each play’s winner is to go-ahead to the sixth and final episode and to earn a $25,000 charitable contribution and the chance to make it $100,000 if the gambler wins in the final round.
The show airs on Mondays at 10:00pm and with all due respect blackjack still makes awful television, but with celebrities, there's sure to be some fun along the way. |
