WINDSOR, Ont. -- A southwestern Ontario mother admitted yesterday to leaving her three kids alone to go play bingo. The 25-year-old woman from Leamington pleaded guilty to one count of child abandonment and was given a 60-day conditional sentence.

Police received a 911 call from a frightened child on the night of Oct. 13, 2004. Cops went to the home and heard crying inside.

They had to force their way in when the children - aged seven, five and one - couldn't unlock the door.
