Tips for Playing Roulette

Below you will discover several roulette tips, which to be honest can't alone guarantee you consistent big wins. What they can do however is prevent you from big losses, which to the normal gambler have a much larger impact. If you consider these points while playing roulette you can increase your chances at being more successful.

First lets cover some basic tips that work for just about every casino game.

Set a limit both for starting bankroll and desired winnings and stick to it. If you lose that bankroll - walk! If you meet your winnings goal - walk! This will permit you to leave a winner and/or allow you to limit your losses.

Do not be overly greedy! If you tend to lose all of your previous winnings you are most likely being too greedy. Do not get aggressive or increase your bets after losses. If you must get greedy do so after a win and only utilize a percentage of that win to increase your wagering.

Now lets cover "roulette systems" that promise to make you a winner. I am certain you have all heard the cliché if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Well that holds true with these systems. Not one system has ever been proven to produce conclusive results that would indicate it is the correct way to play.

The reason these systems are not decisive is that they exclude the primary characteristic of gambling and that is luck. Luck can't be quantified, furthermore if any game such as roulette were mathematically predictable it wouldn't be considered gambling.

If you are new to the game of roulette you are most likely looking for a system that will help you win. Don't! Instead spend your time looking to play at with the lowest house odds possible and hereby giving you a better chance at increasing your winnings and limiting your losses.

Look for a roulette wheel with just a single zero. If you can find one this will cut the house edge much more than any other option in the game of roulette. In Vegas you might want to try The Tropicana, The Stratosphere, Mandalay Bay, The Venetian, Aladdin, or the Luxor.

Stick with bets that give you the best odds of winning while still giving you positive winnings 2:1 plus. Do not allow yourself to be influenced by previous results and most importantly remember to have some fun.
