ANTIGUA and LAS VEGAS, June 6 /PRNewswire/ -- World Poker Exchange today announced an exclusive partnership with professional poker champion Max Pescatori, "The Italian Pirate." The agreement is the first of its kind for the rapidly expanding poker site where Pescatori will serve as the resident odds maker for a poker tournament betting line. The betting lines will also be available at World Poker Exchange's affiliated site, World Sports Exchange. Terms of the agreement were not released.
"The Italian Pirate" will share his extensive knowledge with poker fans of all skill levels in his monthly column on the site featuring tips for betting on poker and Pescatori will represent World Poker Exchange during tournament appearances at the World Series of Poker and the London Open 2005. World Poker Exchange members will also be able to play against Mr. Pescatori at his regular "virtual table" that he will host on a recurring basis starting in July.
